The AAD Conference recognises the urgent need to address the ongoing challenges of underdevelopment, racism, and socio-economic disparities faced by Africans and People of African Descent.

Set to be hosted in Johannesburg, South Africa, the 2026 edition will serve as a platform for:

  • Developing actionable strategies which will ensure that Africans and the diaspora reclaim their rightful place in global leadership across various sectors.
  • Fostering collaboration among stakeholders to combat the resurgence of racism and inequality.
  • Revisiting the Conference Declaration and the status of the 10 Thematic Working Groups.
