A Storytelling Dinner

Johannesburg turned 140 this year. Come and meet it over dinner on a rooftop in Braamfontein, with the skyline and the Nelson Mandela Bridge as your backdrop. Storyteller Charlie Moyo takes you through the city’s story in four chapters: from the Highveld grasslands before the gold rush, through the shebeens and jazz of Sophiatown, along the corridors of exile and solidarity, to the city of today. The dinner is served as the story unfolds, with music from each era alongside it.
