1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Africa and Africans in Diaspora (AAD) website and registering for the 2026 Conference, you enter into a binding agreement with the AAD Organising Committee.

1.2 User Conduct
Users shall not use this platform to distribute defamatory, obscene, or unlawful material. Any attempt to circumvent the website’s security features is strictly prohibited.

1.3 Intellectual Property
The “Africa and Africans in Diaspora” brand, logos, and all original content are the property of the organisers. No content may be reproduced without prior written consent.

1.4 Liability and Indemnity
Attendance is at the delegate’s own risk. The organisers, their employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the event. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of personal property or delays in travel.

1.5 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
